Ok.

I have had some altitis, and I have 4 toons on the go.

I have

Ice/Thorns Dom (Really good damage and control=Solo's excellently)

Illusion/FF Controller (With the fighting pool, jump kick, and Flurry she is a brutal beast and solo's amazing)

Demon/Poison MM (This toon melts the faces off of purple meanies)

And finally my Corr. Dual/Kin'

This is a dissapointment. Maybe Im not swapping ammo right, but Fire and normal bullets seem ok. Bullets seem lower damage but the knockback is usefull.

Id post my build. but really all it is more of the pistol stuff, with Siphon Power, The Heal, and Density. But...Meh...Finding it really hard to play. Although Kin is amazing. But Im not dealing enough damage to kill someone like James Noble at one level lower than myself. If it regens, I can't kill it.

Any advice?

I was able to kill a -1 Jamie Noble just fine with my DP/Kin corruptor.

If you weren't able to beat his regen then I'm thinking its most likely Siphon Speed you are missing.

Transfusion is a huge -regen debuff. Heal yourself, and he's not regenerating at the same time.

DP/Kin is what I play, and it's a rather frantic set. It doesn't have a huge amount of solo survivability. Using Suppressive Fire to full effect is key to surviving soloing (hit those Lieutenants!). The set really shines best in teams, though.

Yup. I do not have Syphon Speed yet. I think that is the definate issue right now.

Do you use Chemical rounds or Chryo? They sort of seem underwhelming. I use Chryo ammo only for suppressive fire.

I made good use of Cryo rounds exactly once - and that was fighting a later EB (I forget who) that had like 3-4 EM attacks and one Energy Blast at range. With Cryo rounds and Siphon Speed I was able to easily kite him where standing toe-to-toe would have been pretty much suicide.

Kiting is probably the only use I'll ever find for Cryo rounds though - and I'm pretty sure Siphon Speed is doing most of the work there anyway.

So far I've only been busting out Chem rounds on teams where I'm getting lots of aggro and/or the guy who IS taking the aggro is having a tough time surviving it (not that anyone cares what I do at this point as long as I keep speed boost up).

Damage on a DP gets better as you go along and you find that a lot of your damage is AoE based. Bullet Rain, Empty Clips and even Piercing Rounds are all TAoE. It's all about catching as many people as possible, and yeah, Toxic Bullets are the ones I run with the most.

Big problem with DP/Kin I've found is that 1) You don't get the full effect of all the Kinetic part unless you're in close and you're squishy so sometimes it's dangerous to do such, and 2) People see Kinetic and assume that you're a buffer first and damage second despite being a Corrupter. I was told once my character was worthless without Speed Boost even though I'd rather been asked for it and infact have quite a few people complain about SB depending on map despite it's Recharge Boost. Really wish that ability didn't boost movement speed also.

Otherwise it can be a very fun set once you get Fulcrum Shift and Transference. Just expect to do a lot of Kinetics while in teams.

For big game, especially at the lower levels:

Siphon Power drains the targets damage potential; you live longer.
Siphon Speed is an irresistible debuff from what I last heard. This power rocks AVs worlds.
Transfusion isn't the biggest -regen power, but it does knock a bit off although -regen is usually resisted. You need to combine it in fast rotation with siphon speed to get your repetitions up.
For most bosses and big targets, I usually use the chem rounds for the damage debuff. Combined with siphon power, it should keep you alive longer. Now if the foe is Batzuul, of course, I would use the cryo rounds since the cold damage would be resisted less in theory.
