Login-in server down - Confirmation?

Can't seem to find any info anywhere, so I'll try here.

As per se, the log-in server seem to be down, and have (as far as I know) been for the past hour. Just stuck at 'Projectinfo'.

Don't know if this affects only the EU or not.

Can anyone confirm that the log-in server actually is down or is it just my end that's messed up.

Updater seems to be causing a bit of pain at the moment.

If you have an up-to-date install of CoH (which I know most of us do) you can bypass the updater in the EU by running the cityofheroes executable from the command prompt with the -project eucoh argument.

(So, a default install in Windows 7 (which is what I'm running on), click Start and in the "search programs and files" box input:

c:\Program Files (x86)\City of Heroes\cityofheroes -project eucoh

Yeah it does seem to have a bit of a problem right now.

Not sure how to bypass it of two reasons:

Running the game through Steam, which makes it all a little more complicated.

And I'm using a Mac.

So this problem have occured for hours now, and there's no information to get anywhere, from NCsoft.

No details about if they're aware of them problem, no details or information when it's fixed.

I hate to say it, but this has been a huge issue all day, and nothing have been happening. I'm usually not the one being a wrench, but this is terrible service. The least NCsoft could do, was to give us poor europeans some information. Is that really too much to ask?

Seems to be a strange problem.

Reading the chat on Defiant yesterday people with more then one PC were reporting problems on some but not others.

I had some minor problems, took two or three attempts, getting on last night but my wife didn't.

Happy to be on Defiant.

Yeah, it seems to be a pretty random problem I suppose.
Usually takes me a few tries then I get in. Although, I did a little test when I went to bed. Tried to let the Updater keep trying to connect over night, when I woke up it was at #437, so people will just have to keep trying.
