Tanksgiving!

Ok, so I'm thinking of arranging an all-tanker posi run(both parts) on Thanksgiving day (Thursday, Nov 25th for those that don't know). If anyone is interested, then post here to let me know what times are good for you and we'll see if we can get this together.

And yes, I'm doing this entirely because I enjoy the pun.

I wish I could say I'd commit to this... What time zone are you in? If I manage to get a turkey (since I'm waiting for money before I can even shop, and it's kind of getting late...) I'll be doing all the cooking. I am west coast.

I've got a fire/fire tank, so put me on reserve for Trickster's Jackalope.

I wish I could justify honoring the US Thanksgiving with you all by abusing the fact I was born in the USA.

I'm also on the west coast. I was thinking later in the evening might be best, sometime after all the family obligations that many will have on that day. Do you think 7pm PST/10pm EST would be too late for some people?

I won't be at work I don't know maybe I could fit them in after 6pm EST if that is possible

So more of my actual thanksgiving plans are in place now and it looks like I either have to do it at 8pm PST/11pm EST or sometime before 2pm PST/5pm EST.

Sounds fun; I'm up for it if there's still room. Pretty much any time is fine, new Posi is generally under an hour anyways.

Should be fine for me still if it is before 12:30pm and after 4 - 5pm EST

What I will end up doing is running it twice, once at 11amPST/2pmEST and then another at 9pmPST/12amEST. Those that are interested can attend whichever one fits their schedule. I'm sure there are non-forum players in game that may want to join as well, so I'll be advertising on Protector TFs, Protector Vigilance, and Protector Watch when I form the teams.

So midnight my time bummer can't make it that late, 2pm EST too early I think so I'll miss em both turns out the boss said I get to be the only one working the day after Thanksgiving. The Tyrant!

Well, the early edition of Tanksgiving was really fun. We all had a blast running around like idiots without having to protect squishies or worry about being squishy. In fact we all had so much fun we came back with alts to do posi part 1 a second time with non-tankers. Mostly to help out a scrapper that wanted to join the all tanker team earlier... even though that scrapper didn't show up for it when we came back to run it for him. :P

Again, the late night run will be at 9pm PST/12am EST, so meet up at posi if you're interested in that. I *should* be done with my holiday stuff by then, but if it looks like I can't make it for some reason I'll be sure to post here to let you know.

Ah cool then I didn't miss one. I'll hope to be on for the late edition with Trickster's Jackalope. *wonders how many of my powers will be gone for this event* *shudders*

I'm glad it went so well, I wish I wasn't working today otherwise I woulda been there.

Well I have to say, even with just 4 of us, it was very, very smooth. SO unlike the original TF! O.o
