That article makes me extremely leery if their idea of new and awesome is "yet more asinine scripted powers that laugh at connectivity and/or reaction time because we're such ******** we can't design stuff that's interesting without this kind of nonsense." Now I'm glad I skipped the beta.

Well, the alternative is: "asinine coded powers that laugh at teams that lack a certain makeup or temp powers because we're such ******** we can't design stuff that's challenging without using cheaply high numbers."

Though I am saddened that we apparently won't be able to Mega Man some of the new powers of the NPCs.
My scrapper would kill for the dancing sword power.
