I don't think I quite understand your post, I'll try to address it anyway though.
- The "last objective" feature only works when there is only one objective left. Be that a glowy, enemy, destrutible object, et cetera.
- For non-defeat objectives you often need to clean the map of defeats before the Last Objective feature will kick-in.
- There also appears to be a bug regarding fog of war, often you'll need to explore the part of the map that the objective is in before it will show up.

To clarify, all other objectives had been met I literally needed one enemy, or one glowie and the maps had been completely uncovered.
In each instance of my recent problems there had a single enemy not group and they were hidden by crates and the like. As the last thing needed to complete (ie the mission completed as soon as i defeated the individual) it should have shown on the map.
The same for the glowie, all other objectives met but one last glowie and as soon as i did find it the mission completed. Again this should show.
I was about to tell you to double check your map options to make sure "Special" and/or "Mission" was selected, but when I just went to test it...
It appears that even when I unchecked all the options, the "last objective" was still shown on my map, so I can't say exactly which option would be responsible for it (if any). It can't hurt to toggle some of them on and off just for the heck of it though. You might get lucky.
Either way, I at least confirmed that this feature is not broken (for me anyway).
Recently I have had 3 defeat alls where Ive missed, not one mob but one person and the little red arrows didnt appear on the map and also a close the portals where the last portal didnt show on the map. All other mission objectives were complete so is there a know problem with this?
