Electric / Energy Melee help requested

I've been leveling up an electric armor / energy melee tank with my wife (fire/rad corr) and it's been pretty smooth. I like energy melee, and electric armor is ok so far. I took a swing at updating my build with both standard IOs and Set bonuses today. I ended up with less resistance in the Set build than I have in the standard IO build, which is slightly confusing to me.

I've posted both builds below, and I'm totally open to any and all changes that you guys think I should make.

For your standard IO build, it looks ok overall. There are various places where the slotting can be done better. The resistance in charged armor is well beyond ED. I don't think grounded needs so many slots. Those slots can be utilized better elsewhere. Grounded already offers knockback protection, so the blessing of the Zephyr set in superjump is probably not necessary. Power sink should be slotted with endurance modification. I think 6-slotting build-up is not very useful.

It's mainly because conductive shield and tough are under-slotted for resistance in your IO set build.

For your IO set build, I think the impervium armor sets are not quite useful in the resistance toggles because electric armor does not need the recovery bonus. There are different ways to optimize an electric armor tanker. If you like defense, my build below soft-cap s/l defense.

Thanks for the great response. I'll look at the builds more closely.

I agree with build up not being six slotted, but it was in another build I was running, so I figured why not.

The only thing I question is the End Mod in Power Sink. Power sink gives me so much endurance per use, that end mod seemed like over kill. I'll try it out and see what I think though.
