If you wanted to properly commemorate him you should bury the explosives, light the fuse, realize it's the wrong day, snuff the fuse, warn someone in the building, get ready to light the fuse again, get arrested and then give up all your cohorts and die.
That actually sounds like a sucky holiday to me.
