Hmm so hard drive you think went pop? So the computer would boot up but no general booting details of being unable to go into windows or the sort? In that case, relatively quick installation would do the job via purchasing a new hard drive and hooking it up. Unfortunately details are limited so it's really hard to see if that may at all be the problem but hope it gets fixed

Computer repaired!
I got lucky, and the drive that failed was one that was not being used, and we just pulled it out.
(one big sigh of relief!!!)

Regarding Sectarias current status..
I just wanted to give those who group with my character (Sectaria), and those in my characters SG (Justice Girls) a heads up that I will not be in game for about a week or so. My computer (at home I am posting this from work like the slacker I am ) crashed.
For about a week, my PC was making a quiet, but distinct, grinding sound. I thought nothing of it, and supposed that it was most likely caused by a speck of dust on the cooling fan. Well, last night, that grinding sound stopped and so did my hard drive.
I am hoping that I can get the machine up and running again soon, but until then, I will have to sit it out. I expect to be back in time to attend the Justice Girls event on November 20th (yes, shameless plug time ), but that depends on what is wrong with the machine, and how much it will cost to repair.
