As far as I know, no damage proc has an additional animation, only the hold procs do (Tesla Cage for most, the hold from Gravity for the purple one).

Armageddon "Chance for Fire" ?
Was just wondering if this proc is bugged in Lightning Rod...I know it was at one time but has it been fixed or does it still cause the damage to the user?
