Why is Total Domination's recharge so long?
Just you, I'm afraid. All the AoE holds have the same 240 second recharge.
Just don't rely on AoE holds for your regular group control. Each control set has an "every spawn" control or two. Mind has Sleep and Terrify, Fire has Flashfire, Electric has Static Field, Earth has Stalagmites, etc. All of these powers with recharge slotting are available basicly every spawn on everything but the fastest plowing groups.
My general experience with Mind Control is you will lean heavily on Total Domination due to the recharge on Mass Confusion. On my heavily IOed character I swap back and forth between them for each fight on a team. When soloing, I use both on a single group (mainly for the Containment). Power Boost is a major life saver for Mind Control because it means once you tag something with a power, they stay put for a good while.
And Atomic Blast is 360 seconds >.>

You guys forgot to include EMP Arrow and Liquify.
A corrected statement: All AoE holds from a Control Primary have the same 240 second recharge.
Maybe its just me, but i feel like TD has the longest recharge of any mass hold power, yes or no?
