So, I'm a member of a global channel that doesn't seem to have any Ops in it, or at least none that still play the game. I'd like to change the MoTD so I can organize TFs, and also to have a message that's more current than 2007.
Is there any way for me to gets ops status?

No. During the most recent round of global chat glitches, we managed to lose all op status in one of our global channels. Multiple support requests all came back with the same answer: quit and form a new channel.
