Soul Extraction cancelled when sidekicked???

It's how other pets work, if you become sked your pets dismiss. This is just to bring Ghostie inline I guess

The pet probably wasn't scaling to the sidekicked MM's combat level, which wouldn't be WAI. Not only might the player have a far superior pet at the lower level, but he might also have a pet to which he normally wouldn't have access at the sidekicked level.

Worst case scenario - if you lose a Ghost and still have access to Soul Extraction at the sidekicked level, wait for a pet to do and re-use Soul Extraction.

Ok, thanks for clarification. I read that to mean that as long as I was sidekicked I couldn't use Soul Extraction at all. If it means an existing pet gets cancelled from a higher level after accepting SK, then cool.
