I can answer a couple of these. The Quarry has the same resistance to confuse / hold / sleep, etc. as any Giant Monster. If you can overcome it's resistance, then you ought to be able to confuse it. Since I've always just dropped the ****** down a hole, I don't know for sure if it can be done.
Things I know for sure: The Lichens will continue to spawn until you kill the colonies. Yes, they do have a ranged attack.

Agro appears to never expire inside Eden trial.
Can the Titan be confused?
Same answer for the gm.
Will the Titan attack mobs?
Should. When you aggro the Titan, all the mobs rush to it. So if you had enough flyers with confuse and then attacked the titan...

Unlimited.

So the basic idea is to have just one crazy *** fight in the spire. I don't think Controllers would be able to pull it off due to the stacking amount/duration needed, but with Dominators in the mix now, I can forsee two big ole monsters going at it. Would probably require multiple attempts unfortunately.
Would first just like to get the Quarry to attack the wall and see if he'll keep lumbering down the path to the bridges.
Then would like to see how many lichens can spawn, and then have them go nuts all over the place.
Next would be to see what kind of chaos can be created in the crystal room with the Titan and his flock.
The finale, if everything else was successful, bring a Quarry to the Titan and let them dance with each other.
What for, you say? Cuz big ole monsters doing things they aren't supposed to do is fun, that's why!

Will the Quarry attack mobs/walls? - Mobs yes, the wall yes but you will need to get the Quarry to be right next to the wall looking at it (this is based on experiences in ITF's trying to get Rommy to attack the computer)
How far will the Quarry follow someone? - Probably forever...I cant think of any examples where they will stop following
Can the Titan be confused? - probably but I do not know if he has special stats
Will the Titan attack mobs? - depends on the answer to the last question
How far will the Titan follow someone? - same as the Quarry
How many lichens can spawn? - a million bajillion

confusing my way through TFs/SFs has also peeked my interest so I would like to know the outcome if there is an attempt then maybe I will bring my mind dom blue side >.<
