Collaborative A-merits

Haven't tried yet, but can a team all earn A-merits from re-affirming alignment when completing someone's morality mission?

E.g., 2 players have 10 Villain Alignment Points. One player has a Morality Mission. Both players complete the mission and the other Villain has Collaborative Missions: Enabled.

Do both of them get an alignment merit?

yes. Just as someone can earn Alignment credit from someone else's Alignment Tip, a player that is 10/10 can earn Morality credit from someone else's Morality Tip.

Collaborative missions need not be selected. That only applies if they have their own Morality Tip and want the completion bonus.

so would it be possible then for a team of 8, each of which is 10/10 and each of which has a Morality Mission, to do 8 in a row and get 8 merits? Or is there a timer built into the reward?

No. Because when you are 10/10 and do a Morality Tip, your Alignment bar clears and you are no longer 10/10.

Your Fame bar does not clear. But if you happen to have free spots left, you could do another Tip Mission(s) or a Morality Mission and get more credits on your alignment bar.

Thanks, I didn't think that through, so it would still take additional time to get back to 10/10.

However, what do you mean by credit? I assume you mean they could get an alignment change, they could get 50 merits (if it was their first time or they are a Rog/Vig), or they could get an alignment merit, or any applicable combination.

I still have yet to get an A-merit, but I think I understand how it works generally, so help me out if I'm not making sense.

It's also worth noting that if you are at, say, 8/10 hero credits and go along on someone else's hero morality mission, it will count as a hero mission for your count and bump you to 9/10, but not cut you out of getting your own morality mission.

Just dont let the leader choose the wrong mission or youll lose a day. It happened to me once. We were doing Hero missions, got to the 5th one and he picked a Vig by mistake. lol.

I did that myself once, but it was for my tenth...on the other hand, after playing a lot on red side I couldn't pass up on the opportunity to beat up on Westin Phipps.

No in that case, by credit I mean, another tick on their Alignment bar towards the next 10/10. But as I said, only if there's still room on their Fame Bar. Wasn't talking about changing alignments or picking different rewards, because your example was specifically about Reinforcing alignment for alignment merits.
