What is up with the game? For the past 2 weeks when ever I have a character 25% of the way to leveling up, the game makes the NPCs 2-3 levels higher than what I have it set has. For example: My one character is at 36 but getting 37-39 RED NPCs. My field setting is at set zero. I tryed restarting a mission with the field turned to -1 and see how it would go. But instead I got NPCs 3-4 levels higher and mostly purples. This has made the game virtually unplayable for me.

I've seen this a couple times before. It usually happens when you're near the bottom level of a contact's range, and the contact uses an enemy group that doesn't go that low. When this happens, the enemies will spawn as low as possible (with the standard chance to spawn at +1), which can make them REALLY hard to beat.

What contact were you working on, and which missions?

It just isn't one mission though. Each of my missions are this way on my two characters. My blaster is at 36 almost 37 and my brute is 27ish. I am at a higher level than I was when I first accepted the missions. In fact I am 3-4 levels higher. I been helping others with their missions and just started getting back to mine.

EDIT: I'm bad at remembering names.

This has been happening to me since I've started playing. I'm really tired of seeing enemies +1 higher than me. I always thought it was normal, and if it is, then who decided that was a good idea? Yeah, the majority of my characters can handle +1. Some can't though and I don't like to be suprised. Expecially in Praetoria where it's already slightly more difficult and certain missions where the enemy spawns are tougher based on my archetype.

Whining about everything since 2006.

Ammo switching for Dual Pistols was my idea:

Getting enemies that are +1 is normal and intentional; the enemies aren't supposed to be all the same level. The OP is complaining about enemies that are more than one level above, while set to +0, meaning that enemies should only be +0 to +1 at most.
