Was the mission over? If it wasn't, everybody should have stayed the level at which they were exemplared/sidekicked.

sorry, correction needed. Yes we had just finished the new tip mission and I had gotten the last badges. Then as a group they started tot'ing again to get another tip mission, I gave star to river not looking at her level and ended up killing the team.
Hope that clarifies.
And no it was not a "trick"

I know it's just debt and us oldies usually do not take it personally, (to be extra clear; no one on the team took it personally other than myself.) I just felt really bad about it as it was a simple mistake that I could have resolved had I paid a bit more attention.

On Friday I was playing in a team doing tot. We had just ran the new tip mission and I received my final badges. As the team leader, I annouced that I was going to park my guy and bring in someone else for the exp. I passed the star, unknowningly, to River who apperently was a lvl 30+ and immediatly dropped from team. Next thing I saw was a total team wipe as I was logging out.
I want to apologize again for that. It was my fault, I should have checked who I was giving star too, I just figured, hey it's river obviously a lvl 50. So again I am sorry. Though the team did let me back in with my alt, I still feel bad about it.
