Lookign For LVL 50 Build Tips

It’s been a while since I’ve gotten a character to fifty so I’m happy I hit it today during trick or treat. Not only that but it’s my first level fifty tank. I’m very pleased with the character but I’m looking for any suggestions and final build tips before one last respec.

I’m not currently having any major problems. I just want to make sure I’m not overlooking certain options. The powers were selected in no particular order and two slots are missing mainly because I wasn’t sure where place them. Any and all help is appreciated though!

If you can afford Hami-O's, you can probably afford Kinetic Combat sets instead of Smashing Haymaker. Invincibility gives more defense for more enemies around you. Just be aware that you are going pretty far past the soft cap for S/L and E/N, but F/C falls short on defense. Find a way to raise Fire/Cold defense, even if you do it at the expense of S/L or Recharge. Another slot in taunt would give you some F/C defense.

If you can drop Punch or Air Superiority and pick up Hover, that adds a set bonus worth of defense to all of your defenses.

Yeah, that's the guide I'm pretty much following. Just wondering if there are any glaring holes I should fill or if the overall defense etc is looking good.

Grrr, lost a long post to the logout bug. To sum up:

I strongly recommend that you try to get as close to 45% defense to S/L/E/NE as possible. To that end, a set of Kinetic Combat (or 2) would help considerably. Also, both TH and Weave are currently underslotted, swap out the End/Rchg for a GotA Defense and add another slot to Weave.

I don't know whether the Numina unique is actually slotted in DP or whether that's a placeholder for I19, but it's much better to use it in Health than DP.

Here's the build with the changes I recommend and 1 set of Kinetic Combat. I had a whole list of explanations that got lost, so let me know if you have any questions about why I slotted the way I did.
