*enters the Rookery and pulls the lever, a blinding light, and the Rookery transforms into a gritty 1930's version of itself*

*Sips his coffee*

So how be everyone today?

*Moves in from the shadows... tips his Fedora towards The Famous DJ...*

"Cup-a-Jo... Hot.. Black.."

*pushes her way through the curtain on stage, clad in a long, shimmering purple silk dress. Hair done up just so, and bright cherry red lips in a small pout. Taking the microphone in both hands as the bandstarts to play a slow, sexy tune*

Devil Doll - Queen of Pain

Oh hells yes Cyrsei... I love that kind of music. I had never heard of Devil Doll until a friend introduced me earlier this year and I feel in love. And Colleen Duffy's voice is pure sex. I mean that literally.

*saches in all Jessica Rabbit like, but with kitty ears and a fluffy tail. Saunters over to the counter and in a sultry raspy voice says..."G' morning Rooksters. I hope you all have been good while I have been away. I love the song, Kitteh. Will you sing another for us?"

*Wanders in, his hat pulled low, trenchcoat still wet from the rain.*

Of course she was trouble, all dames were trouble. And a dame like this one was trouble ontop of trouble. But she agreed to pay my fee, 30 donuts a day plus expenses. So I decided to try the usual dive for information.

NekoDaKitteh had just walked onstage, working the crowd like a cobra staring down a squirrel. VexXxaGlomper was there as well, soaking up the attention and distracting any eyes that strayed from the stage like moths to a flame.

Shecky was working the band, laying down tunes for Neko to hypnotize by. And then there was CyrseiLady and FeyFey. One dame that dangerous could kill a man, and these two came as a pair.

Arachnid was working the bar, if things got tight he was willing to get dirty. But only for a price. And Kurse, the man with the information and a 38 snub nose in his pocket. Normally I couldn't afford the fee he charged for information, but the dame I was working for was kicking in for expenses...

*returns to the stage after a quick bourbon for her encore*

*Lightly sips the coffee, watching his mark approach the Bar.*

"Of all the gin joints, in all the places, in all the World.." As He slides the paper across the bar deftly, and then wraps his hands around his Cup.

"I would expect payment at the usual Drop Off....10 glazed... 2 chocolate... and 6 Bavarian Cream... No more.. No Less..."


He flips a coin to the Barkeep then stands up to his full height.

"Same as before.. you get caught with that information.. you dont konw me.. or we never do business again.. Capiche?"

*Continues playing the piano which has a hidden camera in it taking pictures of Kurse*

Sometimes you just gotta know what to do, and then just do it.


*Gives a nod to Fedor*

*Pokes the Puppeh with a stick! And then returns to business.*

6 bavarian? This information better be solid gold on a diamond platter!

*Nods to Shecky and then looks very confused.*

I'll have the payment within the hour, I have to get a cab to the bakery.
