If anyone uses Daz3D, could you answer a few questions please?

Probably.
Good art requires skill in areas such as:
anatomy
composition
color theory
Good 3d visual art requires skill in things like:
3d modeling
rigging
lighting
rendering
People using Poser/Daz get a boost because they are using meshes and presets done by other more skilled people. But if you want to produce quality work, it takes a lot of time and commitment in terms of both technical and artistic skill. If you want to create your own texture, knowledge of photoshop (or some equivalent) and basic UV mapping is essential.

I agree with FrozenDeath, however don't be put off. It takes time but if you are good with photoshop and can master some Daz basics you should be able to make some reasonable images.
For example I made these pretty quickly without making any clothing at all, but they still match how the toons look.

I've always wanted to do my own drawings but the problem is I have tons of ideas and visualization but no drawing skills (ya know, one of those people who can't draw a perfect circle). A friend told me that since I'm good with computers I should try digital art/3D modeling. I spent a few hours looking up programs and downloaded Daz 3D and Blender. I haven't tried messing with Blender yet but have downloaded all the free models and such for Daz3D.
My questions are first off is there a way to create my own clothes or can I only use the ones I downloaded? Do I have to go to Photoshop or a simular program, draw the designs I want then put them on the clothes?
Is this going to be hard to learn and with me having little drawing skills am I just in major trouble and getting over my head?
I'm not expecting anyone to hold my hand in the process but if someone could possibly point me in the right direction that would be extremely helpful
Thank you for your time.
