Are you talking about electric control/electrical assault?

If so, use static field often as you can. Slot it for endurance mod and recharge. Start off by laying down static field in the center of the mobs if possible. Now engage in melee range and watch your recovery increase. Static makes them 'leak' endurance to nearby allies in which you can recover.

If you're talking about Elec/NRG Assault there's a few things which can help.

Don't bother with Chain Fences, Paralyzing Blast or the Fitness pool. Focus instead on having a nice collection of the unique Electrical controls along with everything from NRG Assault. This gives you the firepower to take things out one by one while they sleep.

Chain Fences is worth leaving off until the early 20s, its an aggro magnet and an End hog. The main benefit of it is the 50% to stop Recovery for 8 seconds (think it's 8). But personally I feel that's something that can wait until level 22 or 24 when you've gotten yourself a decent attack chain.

Paralyzing Blast is slot hungry (and slots are precious for a Domi) and/or needs frankenslotting with level 30 Acc/Recharge/Hold IOs to work really well. So I like to leave it off until I'm close to getting those. Take it at 24 or 30. The chief reason to take it at all is because you can do Domination -> Power Boost -> Paralyzing Blast on really tricky spawns with multiple bosses (end of mission spawns on a lot of newer content or on teams).

Between Conductive Aura (slotted with Acc and End Mod), Static Field (Acc, Recharge and an End Mod is how I've mine slotted) and Domination Fitness is unneeded. Domination isn't that much of a benefit for an Elec/NRG but the full blue bar it gives lets you skip fitness.

Drop Static Field from a hidden position if you can (usually doesn't matter but occasionally one or two members of a spawn won't fall asleep and will instead shoot you in the face). Once it's dropped and things are slept you can run in, hit Power Boost (a must have) and Conductive Aura will very quickly drain them for you. Hold a tough enemy (while Power Boost is still in effect) and then go to town.

While it is doing so pick off your foes one by one. Power Push is an amazingly effective power for you. Yes it does knockback but this isn't a bad thing. It's got some of the best DPA in NRG Assault thanks to how fast it is to cast, and it's very, very accurate. If you hit Power Push and then queue up a Bone Smasher you'll send something flying and the Smasher will also hit them. His is very handy. Follow up with Power Blast and then another Power Push.

I use this method to sleep an entire spawn and then pick them off one by one, sending them skidding off down the road, possible stunned and with another volley about to follow them up to finish them off. If enemies wake you can hold or Jolting Chain them to knock them off their feet and give the sleep a chance to retake hold.

All this is advice up to around level 25 from personal experience. After that is a grey area for me, and personally I'm not looking forward to how the Gremlins might screw up this strategy of "divide and conquer" with their Damage Auras and love of running after anything which is knocked back.
