Sunday Night changes coming

Hello, everyone! You're talking to the Plant!

And it's talking to YOU about the changes that are planned for starting October 17th. We've had requests in channel to do a GR event night. As Tuesday and Thursday are usually bad nights overall, and M-W-F are spoken for - and some of us actually have a social life on Saturdays (myself NOT being one of them), Sundays will become a GR night.
All events related to GR will be posted here. This can and will include PuGs, events (see the main City page for I19 events), potential future TFs (oh, dear GOODNESS, let there be at least one GR TF), and so on.

As this thread is maintained by me, I hereby state that any and all RPing, storytelling, or other game-related typing is hereby accepted. This is a GR-only thread, but feel free to describe characters, type up stories, yada yada yada.

While I normally wont be able to make it for this as I have RL events taking place on Sundays I hope it gets off to a good start especially with the additional GR content coming with i19 in the (hopefully) not to distant future.

Well, the first night of Going Rogue was a success! We had a large rolling group that was pushing hard for xp as we loyally served Emperor Cole! All hail the emperor!!

Despite my earlier post I was present for the first EVER GR Sunday Night Event (didnt get a badge though ).

We had a really good run and I got my 18 Scrapper up to level 20 (Stamina - wooohooo [come on i19 and Inherent Fitness]).

While GR is a bit lacking in actual events (TF/SF [will there be a new name for Praetorian Team-Needed Forces?], GM Hunts, Respec Missions, Flashbacks, etc) it is still a new zone and lot of stuff to explore (took me a few goes to realise the doors with the black and yellow "stairs" icon take you to the roofs).


Thanks to Plant for organising and hopefully ill be on again this Sunday.

Hi All,

For those of you who missed out on tonight's Going Rogue event, Plantatia has been kind enough to bestow upon me the responsibility of running the regular Sunday Night Going Rogue event from now on...

It is my hope that taking over the leadership of this event will lighten the load of the regular event leaders with the already scheduled events (Hero Mondays, Sinister Wednesdays and Friday Night Villany) so thank you for the opportunity Plant!

Tonights Event Report:

Unfortunately we had a bit of a slow start - a couple of hiccups with the Australian participants - a lot us experienced poor server connectivity and were abruptly kicked from the servers (myself a total of 6 times!). This resulted in the loss of approximately 2 potential teams...

After we managed a stable connection, our initial team of 6 started out doing some Trick or Treats in Imperial City at level 14. This was difficult to do as the spawns were generating for the zone at 16+ =OUCH!

More server issues saw our team dwindle from 6 to 4, at which point we continued on - after being owned by zombies - with a few PuGs... level 9 cake-walks and level 15+ manageable missions.

Thankfully between the four of us there was a level or two acheived, and we were lucky enough to not be disturbed by any more server issues within the final hour.
