Cant get a damn hero tip, redside losting map server, crazy lag... Stuck!

My character is a rogue and yesterday night in Nerva (Union EU server) game was unplayable. Lost map server every second, crazy lag.
I went to I. Port, since I want to switch to hero, but not a damn tip and I been hunting for a long while. Talos, IP, Founders... Liet, Bosses. No way.
Whats wrong with this? I always get tips with no problem but now its impossible.
Cant go back to redside with that killer lag and do nothing than radios.
This is lame. Advice?

I had the same issue on Union yesterday. Tried killing stuff in Talos, IP, DA and missions for an hour or so then gave up.

I tried again today and picked up a tip within a couple of minutes.

Well I kept trying with no success.
Damn patches, they fix some things and broke others.

Just by way of, I always duck into Dark Astoria for my tips. Large and numerous spawns of lvl 21 foes waiting to be wiped out at speed.

I get my first 3 tips there and then do the missions and if I don't get any tip drops during those I just head back to DA. Never have to wait long in there.

@OP Was your tip box full from villain-side before switching over to Independence Port? You can only have three in your queue at any one time.

I've long noticed a very weird/inconsistent tip drop rate. I've had numerous times running 8 man level 50 teams where I didn't get a tip drop in mission for 4-8 missions but could get a 30 percent tip drop rate attacking grays outside.

I have had issues red side too. Had to level up, and once I did that. bingo. seems logging and waiting a day work also. yes I was able to get one too.
