Raid Telepad = how many normal Telepads?

The Raid Telepad looks about 4 times larger than normal Telepads. Will it fit into a Teleport Bay? (The 1 x 2 room) If I put it into a room, how many does it count as? For instance, the 5 x 5 room will hold eight normal Telepads. The Raid Telepad counts as how many of those eight?

Raid telepad counts as one pad. It's too big for a 1x room. A 2x2 room should hack it, but it's a very tight fit and will strip the trim off at least 2 walls.

Clicking on the linked image above will take you off the City of Heroes site. However, the guides will be linked back here.

Note that the Raid Telepad ONLY functions to teleport your team to an 'enemy' base in a PvP raid.

Since Base PvP is disabled, it has no functional use at all right now.

Incorrect. If you plan to run a CoP trial, you'll need a raid teleporter. However, Vaults, IoP bases, and Dimensional Anchors are not currently necessary since the "IoP' is currently granted as a per-player temp power.

Edit: You also need a Mission Computer or an Oracle to run the CoP.

Okay, haven't ever run one.

So that's one use.

My point is that it can't be used as a replacement for a regular telepad.
