Imperial Defense Force heavy Troopers are WTF-worthy

So I was playing the new Maria Jenkins arc with friend a few nights back when we got to fighting the IDF. Towards the end it was down to the two of us and one orange conning Heavy Trooper Lt. class enemy when HE SHOOTS MULTIPLE MISSILE SWARMS AT ME!
Okay, while that might not sound so weird, given his name and Praetoria's tech levels, also I should point out that his shoulders were no different from the other troopers, or TEST in the 1-20 stuff, nor did his breast panels flip open.
Taking a closer look, these missiles appeared half a foot away from his shoulders and fired like he had some kind of gateway to a dimension of infinite RAWKETS mounted on his shoulders (which is pretty ridiculous, considering Praetoria's still just getting the hang of Portal Tech), it all left me with my eyes like this: (o.o) and wondering WHEN CAN WE DO THAT?!

Edit: While the upgraded assault bot is close, I'd still like to know when we ourselves can fire rockets from or shoulders... But mostly this is about the WTF factor of it all.

I'm guessing that Heavy Troopers are supposed to look slightly different than they do now, such as having rocket pods on their shoulders and stuff.

I'm glad they don't though because if I see one more NPC that looks cooler than I ever could then I am going to weep tears of blood, then bottle those tears and mail them to the CoH art department, and they're gonna be like "what is this gatorade?" and then they'll open the bottle (or bottles) and be like "oh god, it smells coppery, is this...?" but they won't be able to finish their sentence because all of my sorrow and anguish will erupt from the bottles and melt them all Ark of the Covenant-style and when the Janitor arrives he'll probably quit on the spot after he's done vomiting, and then CoH won't have an art department and they'll have to kidnap one from a different game and it's likely they'll get CO's art team and then all future art stuff is gonna look stupid and have horse-faces.

Heh multiple missile attacks is nothing.

One of them goes all GDI on your backside and calls in an Ion Cannon strike!

Yep, I know war walkers do that, and siege, and you know what?
I don't even bother to move out of the targeted area on my /sr scrapper. I've dodged three Orbital lance blasts at once thanks to siege being a b@#$% and constantly running away.

Heavy Troopers are my most hated enemy. Not because they hurt, but because I can't see anything that's going on anywhere around me while they're alive because they're firing a million rockets at once constantly until they die. They're worse than Malta's Titans. The few times that the IDF actualy gave my duo problems were all because I didn't notice a Heavy Pooper and he started firing off his rockets and I couldn't see enough to target the right enemy and was getting attacked by no less than three different groups before I finally found him and killed him. Blind tabbing trying to find the jerk once he starts firing doesn't work very well on outdoor maps set for 5.
