It takes a little while. I had mine changed awhile back and I think it took a week or two, well it was at least that long before I noticed the change.../ I ended up filling out a support survey thing and threw it in that I was still waiting for a forum name change and BAZINGA! Done!

I think this must be the trick to it, just have to complain that it hasn't happened, and it'll happen.
