First off you are spending over 50 million dollars on 10% regeneration. The first four Expedients Reinforcements are affordable IOs the next 2 in the set are Expensive.

Drop Boxing, Drop Tough, Drop Weave and pick up Manuvers, Flares and Inferno. You'll build your ranged defense just as much. 6 slots Flares with Thunderstrike. I'd 6 slot Fireblast with Thunderstrike. I'd slot Freezing Rain with Posi for the recharge.

Slotting Gausains when your really only going for ranged is a waste of slots. If you put 3 of those slots into Inferno you could 4 slot it with Erads and pick up +rec, +HP and +ranged def.
