There's been some back-and-forth discussion about how these raids are organized, but I would like to ask that any such discussion remain out of this thread. Hi, Folks --
The special, on request Rikti Raid went very well!
Average "take" was 500 Vanguard Merits per run, with some hitting over 700!
The second run was rough, and for a moment, the battle hung in the balance!
But the relentless surge of our forces could only be slowed -- not stopped!
Finally, victory was ours -- the Rikti were only saved from complete defeat by their shields!
Be in the RWZ tomorrow for our two regularly-scheduled Rikti Raids at 5 PM Pacific!

Lured by the promise of a large number of Incarnate Shards and Gra'i Matter...
Brought back to Paragon City by Issue 19 and all the wonder that it brings...
This Saturday's Raids were unprecedented in terms of attendance!
So many persons showed up, that not two but THREE RWZs were spawned!
The flower of Guardian's mightiest heroes were present this day!
What a gladsome sight indeed it was to see so many of our finest in action!
Needless to say, with the maximum possible number of heroes present...
The Rikti were annihilated, time and time again!
Shards and Vanguard Merits flowed like water!
The next 2 Back-to-Back Raids are on 12-11-10, at 5 PM Pacific (8 PM Eastern)!

Hello. Seeing that the next two weeks, the raids fall on Christmas and New Year's Day, will you be running them as scheduled, taking those two weeks off or do you plan on running these raids on alternate days? Just curious as I am trying to update as much as I can before I leave for vacation in 2 weeks.

That is a good question -- we don't run events on major Holidays.
I had been planning on making an announcement, as I did for Thanksgiving.
To be clear, there will be NO Raids on Christmas and New Year's Day.
We will be taking those two weeks OFF. There will be NO alternate Raid Days.

Earthclan Elite would like to wish all of Guardian a very Happy, Holy and Safe Christmas and New Year.
Remember, this coming Saturday is Christmas, the next is New Year's Day.

Rikti Mothership Raid Update: 01-29-2011
Hi, Folks --
For the first time since they began, a scheduled EE Mothership Raid did not take place!
A strange variety of unexpected challenges met several of the main EE team leaders in their Secret Identities, from a bad case of the flu all the way to having to work late.
These disparate events conspired to make them all late for (or to miss entirely) the night's activities! Such levels of coincidence are hard to accept -- it's surely a Nemesis Plot!
Regardless, the night's Raids were begun by various folks that had come to join in on the event, who stepped up to the plate and formed the teams. Hats off to them!
Arriving late (just as the Shields Dropped), some EE Team Leads were able to participate in the Second Raid, which went flawlessly.
The next scheduled back-to-back Rikti Mothership Raids will be on February 5th, 2011, at 5 PM Pacific (8 PM Eastern)!
Announcements will be made to the usual Channels (Guardian, Level 50, etc), of course.

The back-to-back EE Mothership Raids resumed with vigor, maxing out the Zone with six full teams and spawning a second instance!
Lag, Shards and Vanguard Merits flowed freely as Rikti were tossed helplessly around the bowl like salad!
The next scheduled back-to-back Rikti Mothership Raids will be on February 12th, 2011, at 5 PM Pacific (8 PM Eastern)!

Another two back-to-back EE Mothership Raids kicked off tonight in the RWZ, once again maxing out the Zone with six full teams!
Tonight's Raids were backed up with massive HVAS and Pet support, with over 10 HVAS deployed during the Second Raid!
Lag was reduced significantly during the Second Raid through the use of a lag-reduction command! (We'll always use it, henceforth)
Shards and Vanguard Merits flowed more freely than ever as Rikti were pulled in from all sides and smashed to bits in a continuous stream!
The next scheduled back-to-back Rikti Mothership Raids will be on February 19th, 2011, at 5 PM Pacific (8 PM Eastern)!

Rikti Mothership Raid Quadruple Update: 02-26, 03-05, 03-12 & 03-19

The last two back-to-back EE Mothership Raids took place on schedule in the RWZ, both times maxing out the Zone with six full teams!
Unfortunately my main system was down for the past two weeks and so there are no screenshots of those Events.
THIS COMING SATURDAY (MARCH 12) EE WILL NOT BE RUNNING THIS EVENT!
The Event will resume its normal schedule on the following week.
This means the next scheduled RWZ Raid is Saturday, March 19th, at 5:00 PM Pacific (8:00 PM Eastern)!

Rikti Mothership Raid Update: 03-12-2011
Heya --
Despite the absence of Earthclan Elite's leaders Doc Vivian & Kinimp due to prior commitments, an overwhelming number of heroes still showed up wanting to take the fight to the Rikti. The call went out, "is there any EE here?" and shortly thereafter another two back-to-back Mothership Raids kicked off tonight in the RWZ!
Shards and Vanguard Merits flowed freely as Rikti were pulled in from all three sides and conquered time and again by Guardian's mightiest heroes! Thank you to all the team leaders and members, and a special thanks to EE members Archemorus, Agent Gun, and Marty Gras (apologies if I missed anyone else) who assisted me in my first time leading the raid.

Despite extensive connectivity issues that had many people lagging and even mapserving or crashing, everyone affected was very fast to jump back in -- and as a result, tonight's two back-to-back Raids went flawlessly yet again!
We're very much looking forward to next Saturday's Raids -- and we hope you'll join us this time around!
