DEP issues??
First and foremost I would update to Service Pack 3 if you haven't already. And to completely disable DEP look at the second post in this thread.

I did update to service pack 3 and still have the issues. I supose i could look for a new torrent client since mine is hella hella old to begin with. However blocking videos from gametrailers still makes me wonder what the heck is going on there.|

And it doesnt have these issues if i run mozilla firefox only in IE for some reason.
But thanks for the link either ill try that or just live with it.

Ok so i guess back with Service pack 2 windows xp started this thing called "Data Execution Prevention" service. It went without problems that i noticed for some time, but recently and i dont know what prompted it it started popping up with some issues.
Like it prevents my torrent client from working properly, or at all really, which isnt a huge issue i guess but i do use it from time to time to keep my DVR more cleaned up.
But i also notice it alot when i go to Gametrailers.com and go to view a video it pops up an issue and closes IE, and also it prevents a new web based sony online game from launching in IE as well.
I have tired telling it to ignore these programs, it doesnt seem to work, im just wondering is there a way to turn it off completely or a fix anyone more tech savey then myself has heard of for dealing with it?
