you wont have any of your old stuff unless you reactivate your old account, creating a new one with same info wont do anything for you except give you a new account
Not to mention that clearly all the info wasn't the same, otherwise it would have told him the name was in use.
Your old account still exists out there somewhere. Getting access to it is another matter entirely. If you don't know the name/password and other info needed, you'll have the devil's time convincing Customer Support you are who you say you are.

I had COH awhile ago and played it for a year before I stopped. I just created another account with all the same info I used for my old one but my old character and stuff isn't there. I don't think it has been a year since i last played so I'm wondering if theres a way to find out if hes still there? Either way I'm glad to be back and plan on playing for a good long time to come.
