About DP and -RES

Hey All,

Just folling around with a three team of EMP/DP's and I was wondering does the -RES stack with Chem ammo? so if I use that ammo and use the tier 2 attack and above will it keep stacking 3 times over from 3 different attackers? and does that stack with different powers? (ie, 3x from Dual Weild + 3X from Empty clips + 3X from Bullet Rain ect. ect. ect.?)

Also,

what is the -RES % anyways?

Chemical rounds do -Dmg not -Res.

-dmg will stack with other -dmg debuffs yes.

It's also worth noting:

Players and critters have a minimum damage of 10%. Also, critters (should) start off with a damage buff of 100%, so you can only do 90% damage debuff.

That being said, it might be somewhat hard, even with 3 DP to acheieve it. Dual Wield, Empty Clips, Piercing Rounds does -12.5% for 6 seconds, Bullet Rain, Executioner's Shot does -12.5% for 8 seconds, and Hail of Bullets does -25% for 8 seconds. Consider animation time and you can tell if actually having all three is worthwhile when -90% is damage debuff cap. I'm about to dash off to work, so I sadly don't have the time to consider the animation time to see.

Keep in mind that Piercing Rounds does have -Resistance (I think only when fired with Lethal bullets).

Here's a chart I made to show how effective each power is at stacking debuffs.

dual wield: 3.6 debuffs
executioner's shot: 3.1 debuffs
piercing rounds: 2.4 debuffs
empty clips: 2.4 debuffs
bullet rain: 3.3 debuffs
hail of bullets: 1.9 debuffs

It's possible to keep three stacks of -damage going if you keep the basic pistols attack out of your attack chain (which will hurt your damage output and put a strain on endurance) but this is 37.75% damage debuff for each defender, so it can be worth it in situations like an AV fight.

Is this true? Is it only with lethal bullets?
