infinitely slow forums and infinite lag spikes in game

Not exactly the same but similar, I get in game very random lag too. It will play fine for about half an hour or so. Then it goes odd, its hard to explain so I will go with it seems on off on off. Even in chat channels it happens for about ten seconds I lag then fine then 5 to ten seconds again and continues till I relog. I thought it was just my internet acting up but seems other are having similar problems too.
The end is just a new beginning, Goodbye all my coh friends and even the enemies, its been a blast I will miss you all. Thank you Paragon team, you gave me a home from home I will always appriciate it.
I'll just find my powers stop activating and then the enemies stop attacking, but I can still move and the netgraph shows the most insane lag spike I have ever seen for 30 seconds to 2 minutes, sometimes on and off.
When it finally snaps back to good ping, the enemies don't spam me with all the attacks they would have used during the lag. I have exactly the same amount of health.
It's really odd, and all signs point to the server pulling a "Colonel Sanders getting hit in the head with a baseball on 'The Waterboy'".
Yeah, just "lost connection to DBserver" in game and opened my internet browser right after to find myself logged into the forums instead of at my homepage.
They must be linked somehow.

This could also have a lot to do with why the server status page has not updated in a week. The problems started about the same time.

It seems at least Freedom server is down, or can't connect to DBserver. :P
Virtue's having DBsever issues as well. Liberty I didn't have that problem.

I got back into Freedom on a good login attempt and did my last tip for the day, but now it's super slow trying to select the server so I can switch characters.
This is not fun at all. I wish they would just destroy the game servers and buy soem brand new ones that work better.

OMG! I made it to the character screen and my characters are all completely black basic models like the size choice screen at character select.

It fixed itself for a bit, but I decided to log off for a while to focus on other things.
Hopefully they'll narrow down this issue with their servers and have it fixed by tomorrow or we'll be stuck not playing much over the entire weekend. 
Great, the forums are at it again today.
I'm afraid to try to login to the game if I'm just going to get lag because they won't investigate the issue and just blame players.
I have been experiencing odd "super duper" lag spikes in game during the early morning or late night hours regularly maybe every half hour for a minute or two.
It's weird because the npc enemies don't even move or attack during that time, yet I can move only to be rubber-banded back to a different position. The enemies don't "super spam" me with attacks when this lag abates though.
At first I thought it was my internet, but that can't explain the enemy npcs freezing, and I can access any website(besides the CoH forums, more on that below) without issue.
My computer hardware and software is not the issue either as I made sure it worked perfectly after Going Rogue since I just bought it for Going Rogue and built it myself.
I've already ruled it out as the culprit.
Now, lately the forums have been loading a bit slow, but I thought it was just high server load.
Today though, I have had every website load fine except the CoH forums where it would not load. The progress bar would stop for a while which got worse and worse every time until I got a "database error" page.
I was loading other websites all over without issue when I tried during those slow times. Not loading other websites did nothing.
Also, the "database error" seemed to fix my forum issues. The pages started loading fast again, like the server had crashed and cleared all temporary data.
Now, I did get logged out after logging in and posting again shortly after this mess though. I thought that odd since it has never happened before.
Now, why did I link these two problems?
They definitely seem related based on the behavior of the data.
The netgraph in game starts ramping up the ping over a couple minutes at most, when the lag spikes happen until it's insanely high over 7k, before it snaps back to around 200 ping.
The forums seem to get slower and slower rather rapidly, apparently over just a couple minutes every so often(I was unlucky to experience it this time as I was loading a page at that moment), until it too snaps back to working perfectly.
Now, I connected the dots because the forums and game share the same login information.
That leads me to believe that maybe the login server is backing up and then snapping back to proper working order, causing both issues.
I'm not sure if my hypothesis is correct, but it's the only one that makes sense to me after trying to solve this odd issue on my end with absolutely no luck and no problem with any other site or service over my internet connection.
