"Back in my day" they didn't even SAY how many you already had. Counting up is closer than we had before... But I do agree.
Though I would also like the badges to be displayed in alphabetical order, some day...

I don't know about anyone else, but it always has bugged me that I had to sift through the countless badge listings to find that one or two badges I'm missing from whatever accolade. Just today I saw I had 8 of 9 badges for the AE acolade and I was like "awesome...wait, now which one am I missing?"
I know the names are listed with the accolade, but I'd like to see a system incorporated that would highlight or change the color of the badges that you already have so it's easy to distinguish which ones you still need.
