Making a Void
As far as I know you can get an arc's power as many times as you want. There's a handful of them that have the powers lowered in strength after the first one wears out, but I think you can always go and get a new version of the power once the one you have runs out.
Until I see something that states to the contrary, going to assume VK is right .

Asking lore-wise, well, yeah, it would be appropriate. (See sig for Kheld backstory.) The Void Hunter mercenaries have modified N-fragments in them (somewhat different ones than the Galaxy troops.)
From recollection, they DO start getting the "call to space" and having to deal with conversion (admittedly I'm rusty on that,) so you could just say your Human-only Warshade version of the Void is just a bit more advanced in that stage.
Wanting to be an "advanced Void hunter," you could get away with a bit. Powers-wise, other than the gun, you'll be matching a Galaxy, though.
Cool, thanks.

With power coloring you can go with alot of different powers and color them black and purple. So I would pick an AT you want to play and then go from there.
Personally I would pick a Rad/Sonic corr. Or a Kin/EA stalker.

I'm asking here more for lore reasons than AT/powers reasons, but I've recently been bit by an urge to play as a Void Stalker. (and probably redeem it) Should be possible to recreate the costume pretty well, but how would you guys go about building the character?
Would playing a human-only warshade be appropriate lore-wise? Or should I go for something like AR instead? And does anyone know if I can repeatedly pick up the Quantum Array Gun temp power from flashback or if I can only get it once?
