This is pretty much why nobody has answered.
The Xbox 360 controller is not a supported device for City of Heroes/Villains. |
I already knew that, but Xpadder gets around this by basically making your computer interpret your controller as a keyboard and mouse combo. Everything else works fantastically, including the right analog stick, which CoH will not recognize if you set the 360 pad up as a joystick. So why, of all things, will it not let me click in right-click menus?
Well at least it's not a question about the right joystick (or was it the left) not working.
I'm guessing that not a lot of players who use the XBox controller, which aren't a lot to begin with, use Xpadder.

I posted this at the Xpadder forums but no one could help me
So I thought I'd try here - I know I've seen several people say they use Xpadder with this game.
I'm using a wired Xbox 360 controller and I have the right bumper set to left mouse click and the right trigger set to right mouse click. Everything works flawlessly except for when I right click things - the context menu will pop up, but when I click anything in it it just disappears without doing anything. I've tried setting right and left click to different buttons but it doesn't help. I also use the controller to navigate Windows and right click menus work fine there, so it's gotta be a problem with the game.
My only work-around is using my mouse if I need to do any right clicking, which is sorta annoying :-P Anyone have any idea why this happens, or a way to get right clicking to work right?
