N.Widow: Slotting Stamina, Foresight and Mind link IOS lvl 50

You can't slot more than one of the exact same (non-common) IO in a single power. For Mind Link, you could put in 4 different LotG for the set bonus, or the def/rech from 4 different sets. You can't put 4 LotG def/rech in one power, though you could put them in 4 *different* powers.
Ok, now I understand why people use for example:
Performance shifter (end/rech/accu) in Stamina.
I didnt know you cant use more than one of the same IOs in a power.
So, for getting the set bonuses I need to have 3 or 4 IOs in a single power, or I get the set bonus for the total IOs in my build?
The set bonus only applies to enhancements from the same set slotted into the same power. E.g., you won't get a set bonus from having various LotG spread over several different powers.
Sometimes this means that you'll have to choose between slotting a set with less overall enhancement value just to get the bonus, or picking and choosing each IO for maximum enhancement, losing the set bonus.

Stamina: 2 Performance Shifters (including the +end proc) plus a generic level 50 endmod IO, or 3 Performance Shifters (including the +end proc). First slotting gives you a +speed bonus, and second slotting gives you +speed and +hp.
Foresight: 6 Red Fortunes. Build up that ranged defense.
Mind Link: 3 Membranes for maximum tohit, defense, and recharge. Expensive, yes, but probably worth it. Otherwise frankenslot three or four def/rech IOs from various sets.

Whats better?
Im thinking of:
4 Performance shifter(Endurance modification) for Stamina
4 Luck of the gambler (Def/rech) for Mind link
2 or 4 Luck of the gambler (Def) for Foresight
Advices?
