Watch out for future BFG cards.

BFG Tech was once a fairly well respected name for video cards. They recently declared bankruptcy and that company is now but a memory. It's warranty is now handled by PNY. However BFG's name is now owned by the same company that puts out cards carrying the Diamond Multimedia brand (also not the original Diamond Multimedia).

Now je_saist doesn't have a very high opinion of Diamond's current cards and if his opinion is sound, then people should be aware that any new BFG Tech cards will likely not be the same quality of the original BFG Tech.

I remember when VisionTek shut down US operations and pretty much their entire staff moved over and started up BFG.

That it's come to this is sad.

It is quite sad that BFG has gone the way of the flush, even more so since I purchased a new faulty BFG GTS250 and got that lovely 'you're screwed' email from their support after sending a request almost seven days prior lol. On a side note, I did a little research on PNY and they are not going to honor any warranty on a BFG card, however, what they are doing is offering a discount of up to 25% on any of their graphics cards when you send in a functioning or non-functioning BFG graphics card. My source will be linked below.
