Vent Question
Go to setup and then move the outbound amplifier slider down if that doesn't work have the other people right click on your name and click miscellaneous and then special effects and have them select volume then add then click properties and then have them turn your volume down. Hopefully adjusting your outbound amplifier setting will work.

For PC
Control Panel-> Sounds-> Recording Tab-> Right click Microphone(Properties)-> Mess with the levels/enhancements and adjust to meet your needs.
Helps with volume/static.
Hope this is a tad helpful.

Are there any default settings that everybody changes that I should be aware of?
I have purchased 2 headsets to use on Vent and have had horrible luck with both; just never seems to pick up me talking - and if it does, it's way too loud.
Getting flustered...any advice is appreciated.
