I'd play dark personally, which is good because it is what I'm playing...
I burned myself out on kin levelling fire/kins to 50 on my 3 main servers.
4 trollers and a corr (2 accounts)
Also as Dark can stealth itself it could be quite nice for running in and unleashing HoB before getting shot. That and the fact that in other ways DP just doesn't survive well means that DM's toolbox for staying alive is more useful than Kin's tools for massive damage.
On the other hand Kin does massive damage. *shrugs*
Dark is MUCH better for soloing due to is many control elements such as a fear cone power, is -tohit debuff, stealth and its powerful debuff spamming pet. It just brings a lot of control/suvivablity/buff options.
Kin is better for groups but is not as well suited to solo play. Kin is more focused on buffing/debuffing so you won't have the same utility and you'll die more with it but it will help you kill you a lot faster. Another benefit is with Kin you can in do without a movement power, particularly if you have Ninja run.
Will likely be soloing a lot with the character...
I've decided I want to try out Dual Pistols... and either /Dark Miasma and /Kin fit the character concept just fine.
Between the two, which would you go with and why?
