I have taken Focused Burst for now, but in the long run I may end up dropping that and picking up Body Blow. The range aspect is nice, but I don't particularly feel the need for it and Body Blow is a better attack by a significant margin, IMO.

I hadn't considered dropping Focused Burst, but on consideration I sure could. I hate the animation length and I have vet staffs to deal with runners. Maybe that's the way to go, we'll have to see.
Yeah, F-Burst is a very skippable attack
Burst and Burn however, should both be taken.
Yes Burn benefits from Power Siphon, but Power Siphon doesn't benefit from Burn
Yes, Burn benefits from Fiery Embrace
Well to answer your queston, no I dont think you'll miss burst. If it was pre i18 yeah you mite, but with the recent change the damage will more then make up for burst. Take burn, ditch burst, grab fiery embrace and dont look back.

If you are in a group larger than 5 and Burn is your only AoE, it will be impossible for you to hit all of them.
Just food for thought.

I'm running a KM/FA scrapper up the ranks and I am coming up against a serious issue: lack of slots. Farting around with the numbers has shown me that slotted out, Burn is up fairly frequently and does a ton more damage than Burst, even before accounting for Fiery Embrace, which I don't have yet.
