Unannounced Patch note regarding Stealth?
My experience has been the opposite, where hostages will simply stop and look at the surroundings instead of following an unstealthed character in a straight frickin' line. No sprint, no super speed, no swift, no extra run speed or stealth that might make it a little bit explainable. They just freaking stop following. It is very, very frustrating.
NPC's that actually fight alongside you will be able to follow you even if you're stealthed, but non-combatants like hostages don't.

Yesterday I did the Operative Wellman (?) mission with my Stalker where you break villains out of the Zig (the one that replicates the tutorial). In my past experience, if there were NPCs in a mission, they couldn't follow you if you had Hide on but somehow the three Villains and Jenkins were able to. Was this a recent change because I know at one time hostages and the like would lose you if you were hidden. If so this would be a great help for Stalkers.
