Automatic Super Jump!
There's really no magic syntax available that would make your bind any more reliable or resistant to getting out of sync like that.
Several years ago I toyed with various binds like this, specifically the "fly on demand" ones that would effectively make Fly/Hover work like your SJ/CJ bind. Ultimately I got fed up with how relatively unreliable they were and adapted to using manual binds.
Mine are now set up so I can hit 'F' for Fly or 'H' for Hover (these also turn off my ground travel powers). Once in the air I can hit either 'F' or 'H' to toggle between Fly or Hover at anytime. I can then press 'G' to turn them both off. If I'm already on the ground 'G' toggles my Sprint/Ninja Run type powers depending on the alt. It took a bit to get used to toggling these powers manually during combat, but now I do it as an unconscious habit and the binds I have basically never get out of sync anymore.
Good luck with whatever you come up with.

Just to throw out more ideas:
I use the following for my jumpers:
/bind j "powexectoggleon super jump$$+up$$+autorun"
This toggles on SJ and sends me flying up and forward so that I only need to steer with the mouse.
/bind h "powexectoggleon combat jumping$$-up$$-autorun"
This toggles on combat jumping and stops me dead once I hit the ground.
For my fliers:
/bind h "powexectoggleon fly$$powexectoggleon hover"
/bind n "powexectoggleoff fly$$powexectoggleoff hover"
First one bounces between fly and hover, second one turns them both off.
I also leave F for follow, use G for sprint (powexecname sprint) and B for ninja run (powexecname ninja run)
Be well, people of CoH.

At first I thought "Neat, another helpful toggle bind thing."
But... c'mon, is it REALLY that difficult to make another keystroke?
Of course the answer is "yes"

P.S. I wish South Park did that ep based on City of Heroes, but it was still funny nevertheless.

Thanks for the pointers/support guys. I'll keep tweaking. If I happen to find the ultimate magic syntax to completely automate superjump, I will gladly share it so we can all live up to our glowing god pictured above!
I consider all the brain power I spent coming up with my binds makes up for the few thousand keystokes I've saved over the years.

This was foretold long ago (and laughed at by Jack). The prophet stored the code for an uber-IO set on a flash drive in the hopes that when the threat would one day arise, a hero could use them to beat back the darkness.

Sorry War Witch. I don't have a CoH account. I have a life!
Matt Miller! I've seen you playing this game for 6+ years now! Don't give me that crap!
Dammit! Just when I thought I was out, they drag me back in!
I have a hopping bind (jump and autorun) and a SJ/CJ bind but I don't have them together for a good reason, I don't want to toggle off my SJ while at altitude. I've gotten quite good at judging when to toggle off my hop to land at a particular point and killing SJ, besides the impact damage, also drops your forward speed as well so I'll undershoot my target LZ.

Thanks for pointing that out, Father Xmas. I suppose there's even more to tweak to make this user-friendly.
Heh, it's also somewhat fun to broadcast in a busy zone (like atlas) that typing /++up does something special... then watch all the people start jumping around.

Reminds me of doing /em sleep next to a one of the FC store contacts in Galaxy and watching how many people come along and join it. It's like standing on a sidewalk in a big city and look up and see how many people stop and look up as well.

I'm tired of juggling Super Jump's toggle so I came up with this:
Due to lag, your first jump may be gimped. Also, hammering the button can get it out of sync (as in Combat Jumping and Super Jump are switched). Does anyone have any advice on addressing these issues?
