On the new Praetoria maps (and for some reason the Longbow base maps) I get horrible framrate drops. This didn't happen before GR went live (Longbow bases ran just fine for me then). The Praetorian missions are hard enough without my framerate moving at a crawl.

My old putersaurus putts along at a pretty good clip, but it's because I don't have a lot of stuff running in the background...I also turn off my anti-virus program ONLY while playing (and don't tab-out to the internet when it's off). As soon I I quit COX, it goes back on. I keep my puter defragged and clear of temp files, and these things seem to help the game look and run great. You might try fooling with the settings, too...some of them are real lag-makers and don't add much to the 'eye candy' in the game.
