Unlocking Arachnos

Ok, so I leveled a tanker to 20 in praetoria, and it unlocked the epic ATs, so then I leveled a stalker, but I still can't make an arachnos. What gives?

You can't make any epic ATs in Praetoria, if that's what you're asking.

No, that's not what I'm asking. I'm talking about unlocking the arachnos.

When I leveled a tanker to 20 in praetoria the other day, I got the "unlocked epic AT" message.

So I then started a stalker in praetoria to unlock arachnos. I leveled to 20 and still couldn't make an arachnos. I had planned to make that stalker a hero, but I thought maybe I had to bring him to villain side before unlocking villain epics.

Well, now, he's sitting in shark island, or something, and I still can't make an arachnos.

Did the Khelds actually unlock? From what I've heard it seems you have to ding 20 as a Villain/Hero to unlock the EATs, which would rule out side switching and Praetorians as a means to get them.

I got the message flashed across my screen, but I don't know if it was actually unlocked. I could already make them.

I think that message is going to flash for the proper side regardless. (Found it amusing I'd "unlocked epic ATs" when my first PB hit 50, too. It's just an auto message.)

I don't think I've seen anything definite about leveling in prateoria unlocking epics. I *want* to say they don't, since you're not leveling as a hero or villain, but don't hold me to that. (I've already had both unlocked for a while.)
