Without GR, you cannot get a Morality Mission drop. You can continue doing up to 5 Tips per day per character, and the meters will not be lost. Since you can't do Morality Missions, you can't reinforce your alignment, and therefore cannot earn Alignment Powers or Alignment Merits.
You will be able to use up that progress once you apply your GR code.

Waiting on my copy of GR to arrive and was wondering what happens when you get 10 tips without GR?
Do you still get a Morality mission? Is Hero/Villain the only choice? (i.e. no vigilante/rogue option)
Wondering since don't want to lose 2 days of effort nearly filling my Hero bar...
