Hi, I recently bought CoH and it keeps crashing on me, which is weird because when I used a trial account 2 years ago, it worked flawlessly. I also noticed that crashing, if it does happen, always occur when I talk to a NPC. The window pops up, the letters do not appear, the sound stops and I can't do anything but hard reset the computer. update your video and sound drivers.

I have done so, though I'm not to sure if my sound drivers are the most recent I could get, there doesn't seem to be any official site around for it.

I've seen reports that the 10.2 Legacy Driver package of video drivers has problems with CoH. The Legacy 9.11 drivers are generally recommended for older video cards such as yours that use the ATI Legacy drivers.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

It didn't freeze after I played for 4 hours, so that might have been it. I'm going to confirm this when I play again, but thanks for your help.

EDIT : Nevermind, the problem is still there, I guess I got lucky. It might be overheat though, there isn't a lot of dust in it, but my computer is getting pretty old now.
