missing xp dot in menubar gauge

This morning I saw something I hadn't seen before:

My character was almost level 11, sidekicked to level 18 teammate. We were doing an AE outdoor mission. Gaining xp, the 9th dot appeared, but the 8th one disappeared.

It's not a very significant bug, but I thought I'd report it.

Environment
--------------
new ASUS cg-1330-05 desktop with AMD 6-core processor
ATI HD 5700 graphic card, current drivers
Windows 7, 64-bit
8 GBytes RAM
using full Ultra mode preset
character: 3-day old Enflamed Echo, fire/sonic controller
server: Justice

The first two solutions are, of course, common things.

1) Are your video card drivers up to date? I've noticed over the years that weird things tend to happen if your drivers are even 1 release behind. CoH is silly like that...

2) If they are, have you tried the Verify Files button on the updater? Sometimes, a file can become corrupt, and cause issues. Verify Files will find the file(s) and fix the data.

Heh, thanks for your response, Kheldarn. As you were making it, I was adding the Environment section to the first post.

I'm not really looking for help; it was just a strange thing that I thought worth reporting. I've been playing fine on this computer since Monday (4 days), and there have been no problems. I don't think there have been any other missing dots.

Cool cool. However, others might have this problem, so now they at least have 2 things to try.
