Stone/Mace! Question about power choice.
If you're duoing with a Kinetics, once they get Fulcrum Shift, any damage-increasing powers you have (and for that matter, damage enhancements) will be redundant. A single application of FS in a large crowd should put you well past the damage cap.
You've also made a major mistake with Granite: it needs six slots, with sufficient defense and resistance enhancements to get both near the ED caps. Underslotting Granite is fairly common, and I've never understood the reasoning behind it.
I've heard the opposite, that defense in granite is largely pointless due to the massive resist. 70% to all save psi is tough, considering a base 20% def is I remember correctly.
But, I wasn't real set on slotting anyway :P, just put them there to fill space, was more curious about power choices.
Thanks!

A softcapped Granite tank is the most durable character out there: as long as you're not facing significant psi attacks, you're not fighting above +2 or so, and the rest of the team isn't trying to sabotage you (eg. pulling sixteen bosses into the fight while you're tanking Romulus and his pets), there's almost nothing in the game that represents a serious threat.
So, here's my build, no enhancers, because I'm not sure what sets I'm rolling with, and actually slotting may change here and there.

Ok, so my question comes in at level 24, 26, and 30. As it stands above, I get Clobber, then Minerals, then Build Up. Since this char is mostly duo'd with a kin/dp defender, would it be better for me to pick up Build up at 26? or get Pulverize instead, so I can have more attacks when Granite slows the crap out of my attacks? Should I put off Minerals to 30, to free up some more slots mid range, to load up Clobber and some other less slotted stuff?
Also, am I ridiculous for not taking Stone Skin? I'm lvl 22 now, and sometimes I miss it, and realize that even that 15% res could have helped me, but I don't know that the instances are common enough to have the power. And since granite is only 10 levels away, I feel like I could make it, and the instances will all but disappear, because Granite is...you know... Granite.
Anyway, just a couple questions I put out here, and if anyone has any suggestions or pointers, it's been ages since I've played up a stone tank, my last being stone/ice...which was a bore, but nigh unkillable...in any scenario.
Thanks!
