Apparently. I can log in, even choose which server to play...but when I go to pick a character to play..I get booted back to the log in screen. Every time. So far, anyway.
I can't log in either. I thought it was just talos island but other zones aren't working for me, either. My day off and my kid is napping, too. :-(

It is 01:51 pm Central right now.. i'm getting the same thing. cannot connect or lost connection to dbserver, made it also to choosing a chracter. As a side note, it is also keeping the last attempt logged after it kicks me back to the sign in screen. Can someone at least put an "aware of problem and working on it on the server status screen?"

I created a new character and got into tutorial zone. but apparently those in game are having issues as well. I heard talk that the server was going down in a few minutes, maybe for extra maintenance. But don't quote me on that at this point its just speculation but the issue is definitely wide spread. X_X
...but at least we'd be playing cox in the past present ...as opposed to not playing cox now... yet we have played cox in the real past, so we wouldn't be loosing anything then except to look forward with dread to now when we aren't playing cox. Even time travel scenarios suck atm. 
Irritatingly it was working fine 2 hours ago - evening off and I am running PC diagnostics!
I ran the GameAdvisor just in case some freak self-induced config change had occured with the router - all connections good to NC
I get the report too that I am still logged in when I restart the game.
Check the announcement forum. NA servers are down for emergency repairs. Must be a hamster uprising.
