A question on 2 procs...

How should / would these 2 procs function? I am just not noticing the effects...

1. Energy Manip: Chance for Stun slotted in Physical Perfection (on scrap)

2. Gaussian's Sync: Chance for Buildup slotted in Focused Acc (on scrap also)

I would expect #1 to give alll my attacks a chance for stun, but I am probably dreaming there...

I would expect #2 to give me a chance for buildup on every attack I make as long as FA is active, but again, I think I am dreaming....

Figured I would check with the proc-masters out there instead of just dreaming...!

This was changed to not stun yourself. It's not supposed to do anything. Originally, IT WOULD STUN YOURSELF. Or, if you put it in Speed Boost, it would stun your ally (that was fun ).

Every 10 seconds while Focused Accuracy is activate, the proc will have a 5% chance to trigger. Most people recommend slotting it in a click power, since generally it'll always trigger when you're in combat, in that case.

Procs aren't globals. A proc in a click power has a chance to go off every time that specific power is used. A proc in a toggle has a chance every 10 or so seconds that the toggle is active. A proc in an auto, has a chance every 10 seconds to trigger. There's also the "120 procs", which aren't really procs, in that they don't have a chance component, and give you a buff for 120 seconds after a power was used in a click, or as long as a toggle/auto is active.

Kitsune pretty much nailed it. Always remember that procs that are triggered only trigger off the power they're slotted in. For example: slot a tohit buff proc in an attack and it will only trigger when that attack is used, but the buff it supplies will apply to the character for as long as it lasts. Also, depending on the text/design of the proc, a proc's effect either affects the character that slotted the proc or the target(s) of the power that the proc was slotted into.

Dr. Todt's theme.
i make stuff...

LOL!! Damn, I missed that... I would have bought it just for the laugh! Could you imagine slotting it in Speed Boost and hitting someone going down the slide at the winter event stunned... lol...

Thanks for all the info!
