1) Powersink - taaaaake it. Use it with the field in long fights.
2) Lightning clap - okay for fast aggro consolidaters and ok just before a crash - not wonderful, you can control the direction if you learn to place yourself to make it act like a cone.
3) BU is deemed by some as skippable but in terms of dam to the end bar I'd say it is on par with having stamina, during a fight duration and also it helps to hit. Whiffing air don't get the job done.

i was JUST about to post asking about an elec/elec tank! Seems like they aren't that popular, is it a bad idea? Any synergies?
They are well received, 'popular' is a matter of taste and expectation. If the team is 'expecting' a Granite tank and get a sparking ball of lightning, instead... well, they might be disappointed, or not, depending on the Tanker's skill.
Electric Tanks are similar to Fire Tanks - it's a Fine idea, YMMV.
No major synergies - no Lack of same.
I, for one, thoroughly enjoy my Electric/Electric Tanker, as well as my Shield/Electric Tanker, and my Electric/Electric Brute, and my Dual Blades/Electric Scrapper too!

I decided to go for a change of pace and try out Tankers again. Up until now, I've never gotten one past level 6, but now I've got a level 8 Elec/Elec Tanker, and I'm having fun.
Before I get too much farther in, though, I'd like to know what direction I'm taking my Tank, so I have few questions regarding some powers.
1) How neccesary is Power Sink? Do you think an Elec/Elec Tank with Stamina would have Endurance problems? It seems like Elec Melee sort of mitigrates some of the endurance loss, but I'm not sure if it would be enough given I have 4 toggles (plus 2 from the fighting pool later down the line).
2) How useful is Lightning Clap for a Tank? It seems like it would help keep aggro given it's a PBAoE attack, but I'm not really sure.
3) Build Up. I'm used to playing Scrappers, and I know BU is great there, but given I want to build my Tank mostly for teams, could I drop it?
